Progress of current volume isn't saved anymore

Ever since the latest update to the YACReader app on Android, the app does no longer save the page progress of the current volume for me.
The current volume always starts from page 1 again, regardless of how far I've read and how I close the app.

I can't replicate the problem. Are you using the latest version of the server? Could it be a synchronization problem? Are you importing or reading remotely?

Having the same problem here. Android app is updated, server is installed on a Linux as a flatpak, so no updates yet.

I imported all of my files and read them in offline mode, I am using the latest version of the YACReader app.

Update: I tested it again after installing the most recent update and the issue still persists.

When you import the files, have they been opened on the server?

Does deleting and reinstalling the app help? There is a chance that the database didn't update properly when you updated from 1.8.5 to 1.9.0.

So I just uninstalled and reinstalled the app completely and then proceeded to reimport my manga collection from the PC.


The issue still persists, YACReader remembers the current volume number but always starts it back from the first page.


For further information, I use my PC as the server, where I have stored all of my manga. I only use it to import the files onto the tablet, on the tablet I do all of my reading in offline mode. Up until the 2 most recent updates the app always tracked my reading progress without any issues, now it always throws me back to the beginning of the current volume.

Just had a look, and yes - both the PC version that acts as the server and also the Android version are on the latest patch.

Not sure if this information helps, but I also disabled syncing the progress with the server (already did this back when I started using the app) since I read different entries on the tablet and PC, and also use the tablet in airplane mode most of the time.

I'm having the same problem. The file's progress isn't being recorded in the program. The file is always stuck on page 1. I've uninstalled the server and cleaned the registry entries, then reinstalled the server on my PC. I've also uninstalled the program on my Android device and reinstalled the latest version, but the problem persists.
