I recently set up a library on a cifs share and under macOS it works great. However, I compiled YACLibraryServer under Mint 19 and QT 5.12 for a headless server and no covers are displayed when browsing the share via ipad. I copied the entire library from the cifs share to the linux box and added it as a new library, but results were unchanged. Is there a dependency I missed when compiling yac? The headless server appears to be perfectly functional with the exception of cover display.

Hmmm,

go to the folder where you created the library and look for this hidden folder ".yacreaderlibrary", open it and then open the "covers" folder inside it.

Does that folder contain any images?

The package for qt5-image-formats-plugins could be missing, but that should not affect .png or .jpeg images, only more exotic formats like .webp.
My answers are not necessarily official YACReader statements but mostly represent my own opinion in technical matters.

Checking scripts, my qt was compiled with -no-libjpeg. I bet that's the culprit.

Yup, that breaks the covers. We had a Gentoo user here some time ago with the same problem.

Recompiling QT fixed the issue. Thanks again for YACReader!
