I want to display all comics of a certain file type (e.g. CBZ). I search for ".cbz" but do not get a complete list. The list stops at what I know is not the full list.

If I search in Windows explorer I get the full list of 3,667 files.

However, in YACReader Library running on Windows 11, the list stops before the end. Not sure how many results I get, but it stops at files starting with E, so that's probably not even 10% of the files.

This is by design to keep a good the performance of the app when search results are displayed. I don't remember the limit, 500 - 1000 comics I think.

Why do you want to see all the cbz files?

In this case I want to be able to set them all to read, rather than having to go through one folder at a time, select all the files in the folder and then mark them read.

If it was possible to mark a folder as read and have that apply to the files within it would be help, but marking a folder as read seems to have no effect on the files in the folder.

Yeah, the behaviour of marking a folder as read needs to change.

You can use the search engine and do this in various steps, write this "cbz read:false", set the results as read, then repeat until the search returns no results.
