Hi guys,
I'm changing things a bit on my Proxmox, and have deleted the Windows VM on which my library was running.

I created an LXC container, connected everything together, and locally, I can access my library on 192.168.31.131:8080. So I changed my routes on my Cloudflare tunnel (which was working like a charm previously) and when I try to connect to my library, I get the message:
"server version you need YACReaderLibrary 9.8.1 or higher"
But my library is 10.1.0 (and the server is 2.2).

Luis, can you help me with that?

That’s because the client is getting a HTTP response bur not from the server. Can you enter the url and port in a web browser and see what you are actually getting?

When I enter the ip address in a browser, I am in the library UI (where I can configure the library)

In your device or in the server machine? You need to do it in your device…

On my device (here it is my iPhone, but it’s the same on my iPad) i’m using WireGuard to remote on my network as I am not home for now, and when I Connect to 192.168.31.131:8080 the address of my server I get the same page as on my computer. The page where I can see the status and the preferences of my server.

Hmmm, then it's weird that it's not working in the app...

The client asks the server for the server version using the HTTP api, if it can't get the version then it shows that old compatibility message you are seeing, these days it's almost impossible that someone is running an ancient version of the server so it normally means that it's getting an unexpected HTTP response because it's hitting a different server, in a setup like yours the problem is usually the wrapping layer returning something to the client instead of the server.

The client and server use HTTP not HTTPS, could it be that?

It is not the problem, my route in cloudflare is configured to use http, and, it worked when i used this same route (différent ip and port) and the server was on my Windows VM :(
On the first connexion I have the message « Error a server with the specified hostname could not be found »
And chen I try to Connect again, I have the message with the old library problem.
Maybe it can help you understand ?
(I can also give you my library address in PM if you wanna see by yourself ?)
