Can't Add comics.

Please help, I can't seem to be able to add any comics to the iphone app, ive tries syncing to dropbox and ive added the files to the folder like it says applications/YACReader and no luck, I even tried to download the windows app and I can view my comics on there but I can't then sync those comics to the app. Can someone please help me, I feel like I've wasted my money atm

Whant happens when you try to import the files?

nothing happens, I keep clicking on check new comics but nothing comes up :L

Are the comics in Dropbox in PDF format? PDF format is only supported through YACReaderLibrary

When you use YACReaderLibrary what's the problem?

ahh okay, I thought it said on the site that .cbr files are supported, do you know how I can convert my .cbr to pdf?

edit: just downloaded a pdf to my dropbox and still no luck, the same thing is still happening

No, what I meant was that PDFs aren't supported in Dropbox or iTunes importing. Sorry for the misunderstanding. You should be able to import cbr, cbz, zip and rar files using Dropbox and iTunes.

Right now I can't check the Dropbox importing feature, I will do it in a couple of hours.

Please, in the meantime try to import using iTunes or YACReaderLibrary and let me know if everything goes fine.

EDIT: Please, recheck that the path is actually "yourdropboxfolder/applications/YACReader"

check the path, even changed the capital A to a small a but still nothing,

I cant get it to import through the YACReader document folder wither the same thing happens :L

Weird , I have imported some comics right now without issues using my Dropbox account and iTunes in both iPad and iPhone.

Could you share with me some of files you are trying to import? Send me a Dropbox link by e-mail, please.

could you go buy a step by step of how you did this? maybe I am missing something, :L

Dropbox:

1. Link your Dropbox account (link with dropbox button)
2. Put some comics (cbr,cbz,zip or rar) in the dropbox/applications/YACReader folder
3. Tap the "check new comics" button
4. Wait until the activity indicator hides
5. Tap the "download & import" button (it should be now visible/active)
6. Wait until all the files have been downloaded and imported
7. Go to the library, you should see there your imported comics

iTunes

1. Connect your device to your computer
2. Find YACReader in iTunes and put some comics in the documents section ( support.apple.com/kb/ht4094 )
3. Go to your iOS device and tap the "check new comisc" in the iTunes section
4. Wait until the activity indicator hides
5. Tap the "import" button (it should be now visible/active)
6. Wait until all the files have been imported
7. Go to the library, you should see there your imported comics
