Hi

I currently have an instance of YACReaderLibraryServer running in a raspberry pi. The peformance for 'serving' the comics is good, but it takes a bit of time when there are major updates to the library. Would it be possible to create/update the library from a windows instance (and take advantage of the much beefer CPU) and then use it from the linux headless server?

Thanks!

Yes, that should be possible. YACReader saves all library data in a hidden .yacreaderlibrary directory in the topmost directory of your library, so the library as such is not tied to an installation. Luis even recommends creating libraries from an installation of YACReaderLibrary and using the headless server only to serve the comics.
My answers are not necessarily official YACReader statements but mostly represent my own opinion in technical matters.
