i realize comic vine is comic vine (or, game spot), so, i don't expect anyone here to fix their problems,

but,

maybe you can help me from going out of my mind.

i cannot sign up for the life of me for a comic vine account so as to get my hands on an api key. i've tried google and yahoo email addresses. i've tried signing in with google. nothing. does anyone know if this isn't anything i'm doing wrong, but, rather a problem on their end?

if so, does anyone know how fast they fix these things?

Hard to say, but it looks like a problem on their end, that error message kind of acknowledges it's their problem...

golly. thanks for the reply, luis. (thanks for your amazing software, too. didn't hesitate to buy up the ipad version.)

i thought their reply was kind of generic—like, no matter what you do, it's going to flag as that. sigh. so many comics i want to tag.

Not sure if you're still having this problem, but I ran into the same error today and decided to go ahead and signup with Twitter and that worked for me.

yeah, email's no good. i tried
  • protonmail
  • gmail
  • yahoo

all to no avail. then i used my google login (id/account, not email) and that worked.
The administrator has disabled public write access.
