Issue with covers

Hiya I started using this program after my friend recommended it for my manga files.
I don't mind having to fill in all the metadata and such - I prefer having that control... however, a lot of my files have weird covers showing up in the YACReader Library ~See Screenshots Attached~

My Current MacOS is Sonoma 14.4.1

That image file is in the comic, and the file name comes as the first one when they get sorted. You can use the arrows in the bottom part of the cover to select the image you want to be the cover.

Unfortunately when i try that the cover isn't available to choose from - for some reason the image in yac isn't in the file through preview at all and the image in preview is what the image should be.

Extract the comic file and look what’s inside…

how do i do that ?

Use any compression software, cbz/cbr files are just zip/rar

It's not a cbz/cbr files it's pdf

Oh, I see the printing marks in the screenshot now. Yeah, this is something that needs to be fixed in the software.
