Right-to-Left Paging Outside of YACReaderLibrary

When opening a file (mine are all CBZ) from Finder in YACReader, it seems to default to right-to-left paging, as for manga. I tried adding the <Manga>No</Manga> tag in the ComicInfo.xml file, deleting my library in YACReaderLibrary and then recreating it to ensure that the updated xml file would be reflected. My Comics library is also set to be westerrn left-to-right style in YACReaderLibrary. And it works correctly when an individual issue is opened from within YACReaderLibrary. This issue only happens when opening a file from Finder, outside of YACReaderLibrary.

This issue is happening in both the most recent stable release and the most recent dev build from github, on a MacBook Pro M1 running MacOS Tahoe 26.0.1

I'm going to keep tinkering with this issue. I'll update here if I have any progress. If you have experienced the same issue, please chime in.

Yeah, the file type information is only sent from YACReaderLibrary to YACReader, so need to open your files from YACReaderLibrary and have your mangas tagged as such to achieve the behaviour you want. YACReader doesn't read metadata directly.

That makes sense. Do we know if there is a setting for default paging when opening files in YACReader? It's opening like they're manga currently.

I think it remembers the mode between launches, just uncheck the manga mode and you’ll be fine. If you open from YACReaderLibrary it will use the mode corresponding to the file type set in YACReaderLibrary.
