Bright1072 Offline Fresh Boarder Posts: 4 Karma: 0	Ahh Thanks very much. I did connect but it still gave a “request connection timeout” feedback. What could be the problem please. I have tried several times and checked the device IP and port matching as well but still. What do you suggest I do please?

Luis Ángel Offline Administrator Posts: 2616 Thank you received: 543 Karma: 22	Open the firewall directly, advanced settings, and check if you have any rule blocking yacreaderlibrary... Also double check that you are using the right IP and port in the client. If the server dialog shows more than one IP in your the IP combo box, try with all of them. You could need to check your router, there are settings there that can prevent communication between clients.

Luis Ángel Offline Administrator Posts: 2616 Thank you received: 543 Karma: 22	Open a web browser in the computer running YACReaderLibrary, type IP:PORT replacing IP and PORT with the right values from the server config dialog. Do you see anything? Then do the same from a web browser in your iOS device. Does it work?

Luis Ángel Offline Administrator Posts: 2616 Thank you received: 543 Karma: 22	Chances are that the data you are using in the iOS app is wrong. Clear them (there is a small X to clear the default server data) and scan the QR code again.
