YACReader library closing/crashing

When I update a folder after changing the name of a folder or the comic/file name within a folder YACReader library closes/ crashes. This never occurred prior to upgrading to 9.14.2.2402143.

Can you recommend an earlier version of YACReader that would fix this? I am guessing at some point a version change altered the way that updating folders worked.

Can you create a small test library and see if updates work there?

I created a single test folder with 8 comics in it and no issue performing updates.
The larger the library the more the update struggles and then closes if it is too much.

It was good before I updated so I am thinking something changed in the way the program now updates?

Starting with 9.10 (IIRC) the app has been keeping track of folders content to update some metadata in the folders (update date, folder cover, etc.), so after the app finishes importing it runs some calculations to do these updates.

What's the structure of your library? Do you have subfolders? Do you have all your comics in a single folder? Do you add and remove a lot of comics?

Prior to the crashing and slow updating issue I was using YACReader-v9.8.0.2105291-winx64-7z.exe.
What is your advice on the following course of actions?
a) Download YACReader-v9.8.0.2105291-winx64-7z.exe to see if issue fixed
b) Uninstall YACReader, change the name of the YAC folder that still remains on my computer (even after the uninstall) to YCReader. Try reinstalling the latest version. If it works delete the YCReader file.

If there us something wrong with the database you need to remove .yacreaderlibrary from the folder containing your library and create the library again

I tried that several times to no avail. Also tried deleting the .yacreaderlibrary folder, splitting the folder in half to two folders and updating as two separate libraries.Still same issue.

Issues:
- On large libraries adding a new comic takes around 30 seconds.
- On large libraries changing the name of a comic and updating gives me the spinning icon and then it closes/crashes the program.

These issues never occurred prior to upgrading to the latest YACReader version.
Issues do not occur on smaller libraries

I think at some point I got your db file and I did not experiment any issues with it, but maybe it was a different user.

Where do you have your comics stored?

You may want to try the latest dev build: github.com/YACReader/yacreader-dev-build...s/tag/9.15.0.2411051

Install it and do a full library update, then check if the problems persist.

But yeah, let me know where the comics are stored, internal hard disk, network share, etc...

Is there a good way to Uninstall the previous version of YACReader prior to upgrade?
Possibly the previous version is interfering with the new build.
