I'm not sure if this feature is available in 8.5.0 but in the current development version there should be a slider in the down-right corner which can be used to change the thumbnail size.

This version should be especially interesting for you as we switched the pdf rendering engine to pdfium, which is quite a bit faster than the old poppler engine we were using before. It would be nice to get some feedback from somebody who actually uses YACReader as a pdf reader how this works out for her/him.

My answers are not necessarily official YACReader statements but mostly represent my own opinion in technical matters.

Thanks I will take a look tonight

The version I have already has a slider in the bottom right which makes me think it's the same

If so, all it does is change the proportions size of the thumbnail, it doesn't techcially make that thumbnail wider

What I need is the thumbnail used in cover flow to be used in the grid format as the grid format thumbnail appears to be thinner then the cover thumbnail and thus chops off a bit either side

I have some 400 pdfs+ for this library so will definitely try it out tonight with all of them

Hopefully we can find a fix for the thumbnail!

Hello,

As expected that feature is already there. It technically doesn't change the size of the thumbnails, it just makes them bigger or smaller.

I have attached the image below:

You can see that on the left of the shot is the thumbnail generated by the program and this is correctly used in the coverflow. However, as you can see on the right, the grid format cuts this off.

Can we get an option or the ability to change this please as I would like the thumbnail the same as the cover flow? Thanks

Smith Offline Fresh Boarder Posts: 10 Karma: 0	Or (sorry) is that what you have to do now in order to make it work? Can you allow the image to be wider, centralise the image and then if it's wider it just takes up the space which could be collapsible if it's a thinner width?
